If flare gives you a different response than expected when using a flag, make sure you’re typing -- (two dashes) and not a long dash —.
On iOS devices, two dashes can automatically be converted into a long dash, which breaks the command.

Fix on iOS

To stop your device from auto-replacing dashes: Settings → General → Keyboard → Turn off Smart Punctuation
